On Friday 26th May 2000 I went to the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury to see a band called THE PRIORY OF BRION. Whilst the name PRIORY OF BRION may not mean anything or ring any bells, when I tell you that it is ROBERT PLANT's new band you may think (as I did) why is he playing such a small venue.
Whilst the band did not perform any tracks from his previous incarnations this did not matter as many of the new songs were still in the style of LED ZEPPELIN, and some of the other songs were great songs from around the time LED ZEPPELIN started out like VAN MORRISON's 'GLORIA', and TIM HARDIN's 'IF I WERE A CARPENTER'.

The Musicians in this band were:-
Over all I thought the band were brilliant and that the music represented PLANT going back to his Roots.
